One day, plain-clothed police visited their home, and the family, sensing danger, left Myanmar to Thailand. What awaited them there was unfair treatment from the Thai police.

The short film "Mommy The Journalist" recounts the story of a woman who, while pregnant, deftly evaded the military council's pursuit during her reporting in the midst of a revolution. She steadfastly wielded her journalistic pen throughout the revolution until the moment she gave birth. The film portrays the journey of a female journalist who, just 45 days after childbirth, left her home, seeking refuge in a foreign country while continuing to deliver pivotal revolutionary news to the public. It depicts her challenging passage through a forest with her day-old child and the arduous crossing of the Thaung Yin River. "Mommy The Journalist" is a narrative that emphasizes the importance of family safety and the unyielding pursuit of truth.

CDM attendees who protested against the coup and did not go to work have fled to the border areas to escape pursuit and arrest by the military. More than two years after the military coup, it became critical for people CDM to find job opportunities and solve their livelihood difficulties. To this end, CDMs are connecting with organisations in the border areas and relearning various vocational skills." The Black Panther column of the PDF (Peoples Defence Force) which has been fighting the army for peace since the coup has built a school in one of the villages.The soldiers work with teachers who have joined the CDM (Civil Disobedience Movement) to teach their studies. Children who are still very young tell there stories of how their villages were attacked by the army. They are struggling to prepare food and stationery for their children and ensure their safety for their children's schools which are their hope for the future despite the many difficulties they face in the midst of war.

After the February 2021 coup, the intense fighting in Karen State that began with the Lay Kay Kaw battle. Now, there are about 500,000 refugees in the 7 districts controlled by the Karen National Union (KNU). Most of these refugees are women and children. In this documentary, you will see the hardships of the refugees and the hopes of the children. I have been in the battle since the beginning of the battle of Lay Kay Kaw, and I had to live in two refugee camps for 13 days to avoid the war. Most of the information in this documentary is from my own experiences. Children are the future. Is it fair to spend their future in wars?

Its purpose is to establish "justice" within society, which involves specific initiatives like conducting criminal trials, uncovering the truth, and preserving archives. In the current situation surrounding Myanmar, this term also encompasses the endeavors and aspirations of the people. In this short documentary, we focus on a woman who was once a teacher in Myanmar. After the coup took place, she sustained a gunshot wound to her leg due to her participation in the Civil Disobedience Movement (CDM). The people continue to demand "justice" against the brutal military that ravages villages and towns. What does "justice" truly mean in present-day Myanmar? This documentary aims to lend an ear to the narratives that can bring about justice in society.

Linn Maung is a young guy, who joined the protests peacefully to express his desire of restoring democracy and unwillingness to the coup like many other people soon after the military seized power from the civilian elected government. Due to the horrendous crimes that junta forces committed against the peaceful protesters and to avoid the threat of their arrest, he had to run into the jungle to hold the gun and to fight back. After the military jets dropped the bombs on the training camp where he was joining, he had to run again. He, this time, realized that it is crucial and essential to have guns to win the fights with the junta forces on the front line. Then, their aim of unrooting the Tatmadaw (military) from Myanmar’s democratization process could proceed. Thus, he decided to raise funds by selling his art to provide the necessary support to his comrades.

They got a plot of land from Lay Kay Kaw administration office and built their house themself. The Red, a middle aged woman detained by military intelligence, struggles to survive from atrocities and sexual abuse under brutal interrogation after 1st February 2021 Military Coup in Burma. This animated film tells the story of a woman enduring days of living hell in detention during the coup. Surviving torture, the young woman continues to stand for the recovering of freedom, justice and equality against Military Junta. This film has achieved the 1st Prize in 2022 at Film Competition for International Day in Support of Victims of Torture, sponsored by Freedom Film and Asia Justice and Rights.
