Thargyi
A filmmaker, born in 1991. I am a CDM member since the February coup. Because of my active participation in the Myanmar spring revolution, my house was raided on 27-4-2021 and I had to flee to the liberated area. Now I am working as a Freelance video-Journalist and video editor in the Myanmar media industry. I have seven years of combined experience in film and social media content creation. I entered the filming industry in 2016 and started competing in film festivals, and film contests organized by different organizations.

After the coup, many young people in Myanmar have taken up arms in the mountains and continued their fight to stop violence by the military. BPLA (Burma People's Liberation Army) is one of the armed groups formed by these young people. May, a trainer, works with those who have fled oppression by the junta. What is her reason for leaving her family and continuing to fight? What hope does she have for the future?
