We opened Docu Athan square, the office in the Thai-Myanmar borderland!

私たちはタイの国境の街、メーソットに拠点をつくりました。このスペースを「ドキュアッタン・スクエア」と名付け、事務所兼コミュニティスペースとして運営していきます！

We are just opening our our space in Mae Sot, the borderland in Thailand. We name our office as Docu Athan Square where we will operate our building as office/ community space. We are here to support creative energy of Myanmar people!

9月の14日には、ドキュアッタン・スクエアの開会式を開催しました！約50名が参加してくれました。みんな、ここに逃れてきた著名な活動家やアーティストたちです。上映イベントも行いながら、私たちのこれまでの支援実績を共有し、このスペースをどのように活用できるかについて話し合いました。ぜひ私たちの活動の最新情報にご注目ください。皆さんの応援をお待ちしています！

On the 14th of September, Docu Athan Square proudly held its office opening ceremony, welcoming more than 50 people who are all dedicated Myanmar filmmakers, artists and activists. We are blessed to be able to celebrated this special occasion with the family-like comrades like them. During the event, we shared our experiences of supporting and funding film projects by showcasing our films, and discussed how we can utilize our space in Mae Sot.
