トランジショナル・ジャスティス（移行期正義）とは、独裁政治をはじめとする暴力的統治の状況から民主化を目指すことなど、ある社会で起きた人権侵害やジェノサイド、戦争犯罪などに対して、社会として立ち向かう試みのことである。社会における「正義」の確立を目的として、具体的には刑事裁判の実施、真実の解明、アーカイブ（記録）の保存などの取り組みが挙げられ、現在のミャンマーをめぐる状況下において、人々が取り組み、目指していることを指す言葉でもある。
Transitional justice refers to the collective efforts of a society to address human rights abuses, genocide, war crimes, and other violations that occur within a social context, aiming to transition from situations of violent governance, such as authoritarian rule, towards democracy. In this short documentary, we focus on a woman who was once a teacher in Myanmar. After the coup took place, she sustained a gunshot wound to her leg due to her participation in the Civil Disobedience Movement (CDM).
